Summary:
The Russotti Gestioni Hotels Spa company, for its Rome Marriott Park Hotel, is looking for an exceptionally organized and inspiring Housekeeping Manager to join our Team!
A professional and experienced Housekeeping Manager supports the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, performs impeccable housekeeping services, and provides our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. He/She will head the Housekeeping Team, ensuring team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol. The ideal candidate completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and organize all the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas;
  • Communicate and coordinate with all departments about daily operations;
  • Ensure supervision, control, and implementation of service and company standards through clear and effective communication with the contracted service provider;
  • Develop and update internal procedures related to department management, in alignment with company and service standards, as well as contractual agreements, where services are outsourced;
  • Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction;
  • Organize work shifts for ordinary and extraordinary cleanliness following the main daily activities required;
  • Oversee the Housekeeping Department Budget to define a departmental cost control plan in line with the management assignments;
  • Document and communicate to the Front Office in a timely and efficient manner, for example, room status or any issue such as room damage or maintenance requests;
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is available in stock and in proper working condition, making arrangements for repairs as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-year degree from an accredited University in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major;
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping Management or related professional area;
  • Proven experience in managing outsourced cleaning services;
  • Compulsory knowledge of English (B2). Additional languages are a plus;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Marriott Bonvoy);
  • Organization and planning abilities;
  • Problem solving;
  • Communication skills;
  • Attention to detail.
