Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee the entire Housekeeping Department, including laundry and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and guest readiness across the resort.

You will lead recruitment, training, scheduling, inventory control and budget monitoring while collaborating with Front Desk and Maintenance to maintain high standards and outstanding guest experiences. Newport Restaurant Group supports our 100% employee-owned culture.

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
• Ability to manage staff, training, scheduling and regulatory certifications.
• Ability to manage inventories and control budget.

Aufgaben

• Oversee recruitment, hiring, scheduling, performance management, and all personnel documentation for the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure all staff complete required training, including orientation, safety, and regulatory certifications.
• Plan, assign, and inspect all housekeeping work to ensure company standards are met or exceeded.
• Maintain accurate inventory, order supplies, and monitor labor and supply expenses to stay within budget.
• Work closely with Front Desk, Maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations, timely room readiness, and issue resolution.
