The Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division, Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, seeks a Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations. You will supervise in-house staff and contract personnel, schedule shifts, train staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are required, along with a commitment to The Salvation Army mission and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of housekeeping or customer service experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
3. Knowledge of housekeeping standards, safety practices, and operational procedures.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office).
7. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilités

Staff management: supervise housekeeping personnel and ensure seven-day operations and 24-hour coverage during major events.
Train staff in cleaning techniques, safety, and policies.
Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
Develop and manage daily/weekly schedules for proper staffing.
