The Standard High Line, New York, seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department, ensuring top-tier cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while managing daily operations and budgets. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, you will schedule staff, oversee training, coordinate with engineering for maintenance, and create special projects with staff to uphold standards.

This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and offers comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping team and achieving guest satisfaction.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct daily housekeeping operations.
• Knowledge of inventory, safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong communication and coordination with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the housekeeping department, ensuring room cleanliness and inspections.
• Plan, organize and direct team members to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Train new staff and schedule shifts while maintaining PAR levels.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; inform of shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and professional conduct standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues and timely repairs.
• Create special projects with housekeeping staff and ensure completion.
• Available to work mornings and/or evenings.
• Control labor costs and expenses; manage budgets.
