Health Center Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our cleaning teams across NYC facilities (Midtown, Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem).

This regular full-time role focuses on delivering a high standard of cleanliness and infection control within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of housekeeping management in multi-site healthcare, is fluent in Spanish, and excels in communication and time management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years' housekeeping management experience in a multi-site healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to speak Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Oversee housekeeping services staff and supervisors at all facilities.
• Assign duties, prepare staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
• Provide guidance to local supervisors on departmental operations and staff issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
• Provide ongoing training on cleaning techniques, equipment use, safety and infection control.
• Monitor utilization of cleaning supplies, equipment and inventory needs.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance with the organization's healthcare standards.
• Maintain workload standards, timekeeping accuracy and payroll related actions.
• Conduct performance reviews and correction action warnings.
• Contribute to team effort.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We offer Primary Care, Dental, Radiological, Vision, Mental Health, and other Specialist services within our facilities at no charge to our Union members, removing the financial roadblock that many people face when trying to obtain quality medical care. We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our team of cleaners and ensure we meet a high standard of cleanliness throughout all of our Health Centers (Midtown, Brooklyn, Queens, and Harlem).

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years' Housekeeping management experience in a similar capacity in a multi-site healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and able to "roll up sleeves" when necessary in order to get the job done.
• Must be able to speak Spanish
