Job summary

Wayfinder Waikiki, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, offers a role supporting the Executive Housekeeper in daily housekeeping operations at a premier property in Waikiki.

You'll supervise staff, ensure cleanliness and quality standards, manage inventory, and align with hotel policies to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of housekeeping experience with supervisory exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and industry standards is expected.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, laundry and public area cleaning.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure cleanliness, organization and efficiency.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality control.
• Enforce brand standards, health regulations and safety protocols.
• Assist with training and supervision of staff and promote teamwork.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

This role supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization and efficiency in all guest rooms, public areas and back of the house spaces. It also involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining quality control, managing inventory and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies.

Essential Functions

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping, laundry and public area cleaning.
• Ensure all areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality control.
• Implement and enforce hotel brand standards, health regulations and safety protocols.
• Assist with the training and supervision of the housekeeping staff.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among associates.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist in managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and guest amenities.
• Ensure lost and found procedures are followed.
• Work closely with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to enhance the guest experience.
