Job summary

People Serving People in Minneapolis is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment across St. Anne's property and other PSP sites.

The role supports volunteers, follows trauma-informed care principles, and ensures safety while performing cleaning, laundry, and room turnover tasks. Requirements include at least one year in housekeeping, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver's license, and willingness to work at multiple PSP locations; schedule is

Qualifications

• One year experience in Housekeeping field.
• Experience working in residential properties desired.
• Physical ability for high mobility.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience working with homeless families and/or individuals preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass PSP driver qualification process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Launder guest linens and towels as needed.
• Clean vacant, turnover, and heavily used rooms.
• Support cleanliness of shared spaces for safety and dignity.
• Lead and support volunteers and temporary workers during cleaning activities.
• Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to direct volunteer projects.
• Apply Trauma-Informed Care in daily interactions.
• Cover multiple properties as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
