Job summary

Navy Exchange in Patuxent River, MD seeks a Housekeeping Lead (Part-Time) to supervise a team of Housekeeping Attendants and ensure high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public spaces.

Responsibilities include training new staff, managing schedules, inspecting rooms, and coordinating supplies, while maintaining guest safety and privacy. Prior leadership or training experience is preferred; High School diploma is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Leadership or training experience preferred.
• 6 months housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and pass on information from supervisor to Housekeeping Attendants.
• Assist in training new associates and communicate policy changes.
• Ensure work schedules are followed and report status to supervisor.
• Demonstrate proper cleaning methods and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain guest room accuracy and cleanliness across areas.
• Greet guests and uphold outstanding guest relations.
• Inspect rooms, carts, and common areas; document results.
