Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) North Island is seeking a Housekeeping Lead for the NEXCOM Hospitality Group. This full-time role leads and inspects housekeeping teams, trains new associates, and ensures clean guest rooms, public spaces, and storage areas meet program standards.

The position covers scheduling, safety, guest service, and breakfast setup, with weekends and rotating shifts required. Based at Naval Air Station North Island, opportunities exist within NHG.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months housekeeping experience preferred.
• Leadership or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspect housekeeping staff to ensure standards are met.
• Train new associates and communicate policies and procedures.
• Manage scheduling and communicate status to supervisor.
• Greet and assist guests, maintaining outstanding guest relations.
• Conduct daily room and area inspections and document results.
• Oversee supply and linen inventories and equipment maintenance.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with diplomacy.
