Yona Solutions is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility. You will plan, direct, and oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with all facility staff.

You will hire and train staff, manage schedules, monitor quality, and uphold resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes maintaining survey readiness and fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or related experience strongly desired.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Manages cost-effective housekeeping program and budget.
• Maintains survey-readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and professional growth of the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
