Yona Solutions is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry departments in a skilled nursing facility. You will organize, direct, and supervise staff to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment that supports high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• This role desires a four-year college degree with related experience; high school diploma or GED is also acceptable.
• Experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervising staff is highly preferred.
• Strong motivation and supervisory abilities are essential for team leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality mindset are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Windows-based office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department activities.
• Supervises and evaluates quality of work by department staff.
• Maintains a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Plans purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Schedules staffing to ensure adequate services and proper staffing levels.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and expenses.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Manages cost-effective programs and keeps department survey-ready.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and positive relations with residents and staff.
• Performs duties of housekeeper, laundry worker, or floor care technician as needed.
• Follows company policies and supports professional growth of the team.
