Job summary

Benedictine Living Community-New Brighton is seeking a Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor to lead the housekeeping and laundry staff on the day shift, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and resident room readiness in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior healthcare experience, and at least two years of supervisory experience to manage staff and ensure high standards of infection control and resident

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes job responsibilities and conducts performance reviews for housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Maintains facility cleanliness, including resident rooms and restrooms, following policies and infection control guidelines.
• Completes resident discharges and prepares rooms for next admission.

Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for managing the selection, training, development, and performance of the housekeeping and laundry staff.

Responsibilities

Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and conducts performance reviews. Maintains cleanliness within the facility, including resident rooms and public restrooms, by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines. Completes resident discharges and prepares rooms for next admission.
