Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to lead our Environmental Services Team. In this role, you will hire, train, and supervise staff, build schedules, and ensure daily operations deliver a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

You will manage supply budgets, oversee cleaning and laundry tasks, and conduct routine inspections for infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation protocols in long-term care.
• Empathy and care for elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team by hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Create department schedules aligned with census and labor budgets.
• Order and manage supply levels within budget controls.
• Oversee cleaning tasks: mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, disinfection.
