Job summary

PEG Companies, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest areas and back-of-house spaces meet brand standards.

You will supervise room attendants and related staff, drive training programs, and maintain safety and chemical handling procedures. You will coordinate deep cleaning, inspect daily cleanliness, manage inventories, and maintain PM system accuracy while collaborating with maintenance and other departments.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of housekeeping related experience in a hotel environment or similar.
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Hyatt property management systems (PMS/BOB), a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and direct the work of team members.
• Ensure processes and policies are communicated and followed.
• Ensure proper training and documentation for new staff and PPE usage.
• Coordinate and track deep cleaning to meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Review guest arrival reports to accommodate special requests.
• Collaborate with maintenance to address safety concerns.
• Participate in monthly inventory of linens and supplies.
• Ensure accurate room status in the property management system.
• Manage scheduling to achieve productivity targets.
• May perform direct-report duties during peak occupancy.
• Manage lost and found process for the hotel.
• Ensure safety training is complete and PPE usage is followed.
• Comply with security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
• Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
