Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to lead and coach the hotel housekeeping team. You will ensure rooms are cleaned to brand standards, audit rooms, and coordinate daily with the front desk and other departments.

This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities include training staff, managing budgets for occupied rooms, handling lost-and-found items, organizing storage and inventory, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Knowledge of computer accounting programs and budgetary analysis.
• Must be able to train and coach housekeeping staff to meet brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach housekeeping staff to meet hotel and brand standards.
• Ensure housekeeping minutes per occupied room budgets and meet leadership requests.
• Oversee room cleaning and communicate status to front desk.
• Audit rooms to ensure standards are met.
• Record and manage forgotten items with lost and found/front desk.
• Organize storage, assist with deliveries, supplies, linens, and inventory.
• Report daily communications and inspections to managers.
• Distribute and log keys and communication devices; collect them daily.
• Monitor systems for timely completion of requests.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Report guest issues to management.
• Be a point of contact for guest and staff opportunities.

Education
