As a Housekeeping Laundry Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, providing a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Follow specific cleaning and service instructions as outlined by the Director of Environmental Services
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to cleaning procedures and protocols
• Give attention to assigned units to provide a sanitary, odor-free, and orderly environment
• Assist with room changes as needed
• Prioritize customer service, providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere for our residents and families
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, basic math skills
• Basic cleaning and laundry skills; ability to lift 25 pounds and climb stairs
• Prior commercial housekeeping experience (residential/office – medical preferred)
• Ability to work well under pressure and perform a variety of tasks on short notice
• High-energy, positive teamwork attitude, with good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain standards of confidentiality
• Absolutely trustworthy to work alone and be self-motivated and organized
