Job summary

La Bella is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Laundry Assistant to join our facility. You will ensure cleanliness and sanitation, support residents and staff, and contribute to a safe, healthy living environment on a full-time schedule.

Ideal candidates have basic cleaning/laundry skills, the ability to lift 25 pounds, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, basic math skills.
• Basic cleaning and laundry skills; ability to lift 25 pounds and climb stairs.
• Prior commercial housekeeping experience (residential/office – medical preferred).
• Ability to work well under pressure and perform a variety of tasks on short notice.
• High-energy, positive teamwork attitude, with good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain standards of confidentiality.
• Absolutely trustworthy to work alone and be self-motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific cleaning and service instructions as outlined by the Director of Environmental Services.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to cleaning procedures and protocols.
• Give attention to assigned units to provide a sanitary, odor-free, and orderly environment.
• Assist with room changes as needed.
• Prioritize customer service, providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere for our residents and families.
• Perform other duties as requested.
