Job summary

Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center in Michigan is seeking a part-time Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant. You will clean resident apartments and common areas, perform laundry services, and help maintain a safe, homelike environment for residents.

We offer competitive pay, first shift, part-time hours, health benefits, paid orientation, and opportunities for advancement. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and carry out directions in English.
• Housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pass state background screening and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, floors, dusting and trash removal.
• Clean and sanitize common areas such as dining rooms and restrooms.
• Sort, wash, dry, and return resident laundry promptly and respectfully.
• Maintain clean laundry and storage areas; report hazards or maintenance needs.
