Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Isla Verde is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector/Inspectress to oversee the cleaning of guestrooms and ensure standards of cleanliness are met. You will supervise Room Attendants, maintain records, train staff, and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and timely readiness of rooms.

The role requires strong supervisory abilities, clear communication, and the stamina to stand for long shifts in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• Notify Room Attendants of deficiencies and re-inspect.
• Maintain daily assignment records and sign off.
• Oversee training of Room Attendants.
• Coordinate with Guest Services to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
