Highgate Hotels’ Renaissance Las Vegas, a 548-room, smoke-free property, seeks a Housekeeping Inspector/Inspectress to lead room inspections and uphold cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas.

The role involves supervising room attendants, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely readiness of rooms. The ideal candidate demonstrates supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across housekeeping operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.

Responsabilités

• Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests and staff.
• Inspect rooms daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• Notify Room Attendants of deficiencies and re-inspect after correction.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and sign off.
• Maintain key control.
• Supervise Laundry employees when applicable.
• Communicate with Guest Services about discrepant rooms.
• Carry pager/radio to stay in contact with Front Office/Engineering.
• Oversee daily duties and cart/closet cleanliness.
• Report progress of out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager.
• Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through to completion.
• Oversee training of Room Attendants.
• Ensure biannual maintenance and cleaning projects are completed.
• Assist in preparing Standard of the Week.
• Monitor VIPs and special guest requests.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
