Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector for Courtyard Portland North, OR. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and ensure rooms meet standards to provide guests with a comfortable stay.

You will greet guests, assist the front desk, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments to maintain high cleanliness and service levels. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk for a full shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the housekeeping department each day, reporting room status to the front desk.
• Train, supervise, motivate and recognize the housekeeping staff.
• Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
• Inspect and clean multiple rooms each day.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Support maintenance by reporting broken or missing items.
• Collaborate with all departments to achieve hotel goals.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
