Job summary

Silver Seas Resort in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector to lead daily operations and uphold cleanliness standards. You will support room attendants and housemen, inspect guest rooms and public areas, and ensure guest satisfaction across two properties, Surfsider Resort and Silver Seas Resort.

The role requires supervisory experience in hospitality, leadership and coaching abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hospitality-related supervisory experience.
• Confident using TimeshareWare, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, reliable, and committed to guest satisfaction.
• Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to inspect both properties, Surfsider Resort and Silver Seas Resort.
• Ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, hallways, pool restrooms, and lobby areas.
• Verify room status accuracy and communicate updates to the Front Desk.
• Document inspection results and submit daily reports.
• Respond quickly to guest needs, room moves, and cleanliness concerns.
• Identify room assignments and determine required cleaning levels.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure completion.
• Maintain cleanliness of elevators, hallways, vending areas, and guest laundry rooms.
• Ensure linen closets are stocked, organized, and secured.
• Support special projects, inventories, lost & found, and general housekeeping operations.
• Train and mentor room attendants, offering coaching and performance guidance.
• Maintain key control and follow all safety and security procedures.
• Communicate professionally via phone, radio, and in person.
• Perform additional housekeeping and operational tasks as needed.

Pay: $18.50/hr
