Jobtailor is seeking a hotel housekeeping supervisor in El Paso to manage room cleanliness and supervise housekeepers, ensuring high standards per brand requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean customer rooms through supervision of the housekeeper/room cleaners.
• Supervises room cleaners in the prompt and efficient housekeeping of customer rooms.
• Ensures that all rooms have been cleaned by checking room cleaners worksheets.
• Notifies front desk accordingly.
• Inspects all check out/stay over rooms after they are made up to ensure they are cleaned to Company standards.
• Keeps record of room checkouts/stay overs, submits records to housekeeping every day.
• Monitors quality of rooms by conducting and documenting inspections of cleaned rooms.
• Prepares maintenance work orders regarding replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Assures completion by following through on orders.
• Checks the status of rooms on an ongoing basis and notifies room cleaners of any changes.
• Checks early morning make-up rooms and coordinates cleaning of guest rooms for proper prioritization of customer requests.

Requirements

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be able to exert well‑paced ability in limited space.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning/inspection tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.
