Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Supervising Housekeeper to inspect hotel rooms and maintain stock for cleanliness and HHM brand standards. The role includes training staff, scheduling shifts, and coordinating with a third-party vendor for room attendant training.

You will manage inventory, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction while supporting housekeeping operations across a Memphis property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel rooms to ensure cleanliness and stock levels meet HHM and brand standards.
• Train, schedule, coach and support associates per brand standards and HHM core values.
• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Issue supplies and equipment to associates.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets specifications and established standards.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies.
• Oversee training of Room Attendants with partnering third party vendor, if applicable.
• Screen job applicants and hire new employees.
• Schedule employee work hours.
• Follow sustainability guidelines under HHM EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Cross-train in the breakfast area to assist with guest questions and cleaning duties.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.

• Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.

Requirements
