The Mills House, part of Davidson Hospitality Group in Charleston, SC, is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will support the Housekeeping Manager in supervising daily operations and lead a team committed to excellence.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience, fluent English, and a flexible schedule. Spanish is a plus, with a focus on safety, productivity, and guest satisfaction across all

Qualifications

• 2 years prior housekeeping experience
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• The ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful
• Knowledge of scheduling, and productivity
• High school math level required
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising and coordinating daily housekeeping operations
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Train, motivate, and lead the housekeeping team to deliver outstanding service
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
• Manage and track inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist in scheduling and allocating resources efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and resolve any issues
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards, promoting a healthy work environment
