Responsibilities include:
- Being knowledgeable of all services/features and local attractions/activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries.
- Ensuring all general cleaning duties are completed, maintaining attention to detail, organization, and flexibility; checking in with a supervisor for additional assignments throughout the shift.
- Stocking cleaning carts, housekeeping storage, linen closets, and public areas with designated supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Monitoring and maintaining safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, linen and storage closets, and public areas, including trash removal, cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, waxing floors, and proper storage of items.
- Following procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving objects/materials, including blood, infectious materials, or bodily fluids, in accordance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.
- Providing accurate key control and effective security for keys, buildings, and vehicles.
- Reporting damages or maintenance issues promptly.
- Handling lost and found items according to department and company procedures.
- Reporting to work on time and according to schedule.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of six months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous hospitality experience in a Four Diamond quality organization is preferred.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write basic English.
- Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Must be 18 years or older.
