Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Waltham, MA is hiring for a Housekeeping/Houseman role. The position requires assisting housekeepers, delivering items to guest rooms, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas and all hotel spaces.

You will report issues to management and support various hotel duties to ensure guest comfort. Flexible morning/afternoon shifts including weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Houseman duties including trash, mopping and vacuuming.
• Deliver items to guest rooms and assist housekeeping as required.
• Report damages or missing items to Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed, such as linen handling and laundry tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, public areas, restrooms and meeting rooms.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $17.00 Hourly

Required Shift 7am - 3 pm

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assists Housekeepers as required
• Delivering requested items to guest rooms
• Reports any damage or missing items to Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance
• Houseman duties including trash, mopping and vacuuming
• Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed sweeping/mopping common guest areas, keeping stairwells clean, and shampooing carpets and hallways when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel parking lot, hotel public areas, restrooms and meeting rooms
• Assist in other departments/areas of the hotel as needed

Experience:

• It requires the ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
• Must have good guest service and communication skills
• Complete written communication in order to keep management informed.
• Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, weekends and holidays
