Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to perform daily cleaning of all areas of the facility, including surface cleaning, trash disposal, disinfecting equipment, and linen stock management in Idaho Falls. The role supports a broad range of departments to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities include following standard infection control procedures, stocking closets, and reporting equipment issues to the supervisor.
The Housekeeper is responsible for the day to day cleaning of all areas of the facility. This includes cleaning surfaces, disposing of trash, disinfecting equipment, and stocking and laundering the linen and housekeeping supply closets.

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum one year experience in institutional housekeeping preferred. Basic computer skills are helpful
Be able to utilize basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, etc.).
Must be able understand oral instructions and requests given in English. Understanding written English instructions is helpful. Not required to speak English.
General mathematics
Able to follow written and oral directions to an understanding level such that the hazards presented from the chemical, waste and infection control exposures are understood.
Able to communicate with patients, staff and supervisors in an effective manner
Able to follow written and oral instructions.
