Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will perform daily cleaning of all areas, restock supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
Ideal candidates have at least one year of institutional housekeeping experience; basic cleaning equipment knowledge; and ability to understand and follow English instructions.

The Housekeeper is responsible for the day to day cleaning of all areas of the facility. This includes cleaning surfaces, disposing of trash, disinfecting equipment, and stocking and laundering the linen and housekeeping supply closets.
Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum one year experience in institutional housekeeping preferred. Basic computer skills are helpful
Be able to utilize basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, etc.).
Must be able understand oral instructions and requests given in English. Understanding written English instructions is helpful. Not required to speak English.
General mathematics
Able to follow written and oral directions to an understanding level such that the hazards presented from the chemical, waste and infection control exposures are understood.
Able to communicate with patients, staff and supervisors in an effective manner
Able to follow written and oral instructions.
