We are seeking a Housekeeping House Attendant to assist our Guest Room Attendants with delivering items and maintaining cleanliness in stock areas and guest corridors. This role ensures the housekeeping team has all necessary items to complete rooms efficiently and provides prompt, courteous service throughout the resort, adhering to Grand Sierra Resort standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing linen and supplies to Guest Room Attendants as requested
• Supporting Guest Room Attendants by stripping rooms, removing soiled linen, trash, and delivering supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness of linen rooms and supply closets
• Alerting management about needed items for supply closets and linen rooms
• Collecting linen and garbage from housekeeping carts
• Performing special projects as assigned by Floor Managers
• Entering and following up on work orders in the maintenance program
• Maintaining cleanliness of guest corridors and shared team bathrooms
• Reporting breakages or damages
• Delivering amenities to guest rooms

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years; previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Ability to listen and respond professionally to guest inquiries

Additional Requirements

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic mathematical skills
• Physical ability to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and tolerate cleaning chemicals
