Summary

Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas, and assist room attendants to maintain Crescent’s high standards of quality.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor as needed.

1. Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and community.
2. Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies/rules of conduct, including personal appearance/grooming, attendance, and safe/efficient operations.
3. Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include delivering supplies directly to room attendants.
4. Comply at all times with company and brand standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
5. Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees.
6. Deliver clean linen to assigned sections as applicable.
7. Complete special projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
8. Pick up any guest room attendant’s dirty linen or trash as needed throughout the shift.
9. Before leaving a section, collect all trash from service landings and dispose of it in outside trash dumpsters per hotel procedures.
10. Vacuum guest corridors as trained.
11. Maintain the stairwells to hotel standards.
12. Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms.
13. Complete projects listed on the daily checklist as assigned, including cleaning elevator lobbies, ash urns, glass tables, furniture, ice/vending machines, elevator doors/frames, service landings, linen closets, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
14. Remove objects such as room service trays and trash from hallways to the service area or Housekeeping Office.
15. Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, employees, and oneself.
16. Handle luggage requests and check-in/out procedures courteously and efficiently.
