Job description

Job Summary:
The Pro Shop Attendant at Waynesville Inn & Golf Club is responsible for providing exceptional customer service for members and guestswho are checking in for golfat our prestigious golf course or shopping in our pro shop.This part-time, hourly position requires an individual who is friendly, outgoing, and has a passion for hospitality and the golf industry. As an Pro Shop Attendant, you will be a vital part of our team, working to create a positive atmosphere for our guests at all times.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 per hourpaid biweekly. As an employee of Waynesville Inn & Golf, you will also have access to a range of benefits including meal discounts, employee discounts at the pro shop, and complimentary golf privileges.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Checking in and taking payment for golf reservations.
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, making golf reservations.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and stocking of pro shop.
  • Handle merchandise and clothing purchases and payments as either credit card transactions or charges to member accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Informing players of course rules, regulations, and any other relevant information.
  • Assisting with any other administrative duties as needed


Requirements:
• Prior golf experience preferred but not required.
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
