Summary: Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas, and assist room attendants to maintain Crescent’s high standards of quality.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor as needed:
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and community.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies/rules of conduct, including personal appearance/grooming, attendance, and safe/efficient operations.
- Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
- Comply at all times with company and brand standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees.
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections as applicable.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Pick up any guest room attendant’s dirty linen or trash as needed throughout the shift.
- Before leaving section, collect all trash from service landings and dispose of it in outside dumpsters per hotel procedures.
- Vacuum guest corridors as trained.
- Maintain the stairwells to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms.
- Use daily checklists to complete assigned projects such as elevator lobbies, ash urns, glass tables, furniture, ice machines, vending machines, elevator doors/frames, service landings, linen closets, stairwells, and other projects as assigned.
- Remove objects like room service trays and trash from hallways to the service area or Housekeeping Office as needed.
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, employees, and self.
- Handle luggage requests or check-in/out in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Manage items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
- At shift end, return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping Office.
- Be familiar with guest room cleaning procedures to assist with cleaning if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Housekeeping storage areas.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Clean and spot walls and doors, polish mirrors, and clean door numbers and elevator doors.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
- Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements include a flexible schedule, exceptional customer service skills, ability to multitask, teamwork, excellent communication skills, and relevant education or experience.
Physical demands include standing, handling objects, talking, walking, reaching, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds, with accommodations available for disabilities.
