Job summary

Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Care/Utility Cleaner in Tucson, AZ to keep guest areas spotless and stocked, and to service public and associate spaces according to Omni standards.

The role requires standing and walking for long periods, ability to move furniture, and a positive, professional demeanor. You will work flexible hours, participate in required trainings, and contribute to a safe, well‑maintained environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience.
• Stand or walk for an extended period; frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance and high hygiene standards.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock linen room / supply closets to the appropriate par level.
• Empty GRA linens and garbage on an hourly basis or as needed.
• Clean and service all offices.
• Maintain corridors on guest room floors clean and well‑maintained, helping move tables and trays.
• Clean vending machine area.
• Move furniture and supply boxes as needed.
• Complete guest requests.
• Vacuum carpet daily.
• Clean walls, doors, baseboards, and floors daily.
• Ensure all furniture, lamps, picture frames, and mirrors are clean daily.
• Replace any light bulbs in lighting fixtures as needed.
• Clean garbage receptacles and/or ash urns daily.
• Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among co‑workers.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance according to Omni standards.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies; ensure a safe working and guest environment.
• Attend all required department training and meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by management.

Housekeeping Floor Care/Utility Cleaner

Overview

To ensure that assigned housekeeping areas are kept clean and fully stocked at all times. This role also services assigned public areas and associate areas to meet the expectations of the Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock linen room / supply closets to the appropriate par level.
• Empty GRA linens and garbage on an hourly basis or as needed.
• Clean and service all offices.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high‑profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations; maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
• Reliability in reporting to work on time and when scheduled.
• Meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all times.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co‑workers.
• Computer literacy, including Payroll systems.
