Summary

EVS (Housekeeping) Attendant

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The EVS Attendant is responsible for the cleaning of all assigned areas, ensuring areas are clean and well maintained in accordance to established standards during assigned shifts. Pay starts at $16.50. Currently hiring for Swing Shift (Tuesday-Saturday).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  1. Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
  2. Vacuums, cleans dust, and polishes all surfaces.
  3. Keeps work area, hallways, staircases, and floor landings clean and tidy.
  4. Cleans restrooms and floors including but not limited to vacuum, mop, pan/broom.
  5. Stocks and sorts supplies.
  6. Responsible for general cleaning in assigned work areas including but not limited to dusting, polishing, shining, and glass care.
  7. Cleans administrative offices and conference rooms.
  8. Cleans and restocks restrooms on both a scheduled and as-needed basis.
  9. Cleans stains and spills on flooring and carpeting when they occur.
  10. Safely delivers all lost and found articles to designated area.
  11. Ensures cleanliness is up to 5-star requirements.
  12. Performs other tasks as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. Previous related experience in a resort casino environment strongly preferred.
  3. Knowledge of all cleaning products and where they should be used.
  4. Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification.
  5. Ability to work independently.
  6. Excellent time management skills.
  7. Good communication skills.
  8. Ability to work in fast paced environment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position.

WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No
  2. Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
  3. Other Certifications? OSHA 10 Certification; Drivers’ License
