Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites Albuquerque West is seeking a housekeeping manager to lead the housekeeping team and ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our hotel in Albuquerque.

You will supervise staff, manage daily tasks, assist with budgeting and inventory, and coordinate with front desk for maintenance and guest needs. Previous supervisory experience in hospitality is required.

Qualifications

• Well-versed in EVS including sanitation protocol and procedures.
• Excellent leaders with commitment to customer service.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years as executive housekeeper or housekeeping manager.
• 2+ years in hospitality or guest services.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms alongside the team or in laundry as needed.
• Manage lost and found log and program.
• Manage daily tasks of housekeeping dept., including cleaning guest rooms and public areas.
• Lead, hire, and train housekeeping staff to meet cleanliness and guest-satisfaction standards.
• Track areas cleaned by attendants and coordinate with front office for damages or maintenance.
• Adhere to budget, oversee inventory, and order cleaning supplies.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and arrange repairs as needed.

We're hiring a housekeeping manager to provide excellent sanitation and customer service to our hotel guests. You'll be responsible for leading the housekeeping staff, ensuring team members perform their job duties to our high standards, and keeping the housekeeping department well-stocked with cleaning supplies. Compensation: $16 - $16.75 hourly
