Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and coworkers.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must successfully complete Serve Safe Certification.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers, dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: clean public areas and resident spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform laundry duties: wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute resident linens and textiles.
• Maintain and stock cleaning carts; keep storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Report issues to Supervisor promptly and assist Maintenance as needed.
• Server duties: greet residents, take and serve meal orders, deliver trays, reset tables after meals.
• Follow sanitizing procedures for tables, chairs, and dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
