Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is seeking reliable individuals to provide commercial cleaning services in shopping malls and major retail department stores. The work environment is pleasant and drug-free. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). A background check is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work on weekends.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of the housekeeping team, you will clean shopping malls or department stores under the supervision of a Site Manager. You will work both independently and as part of a team. Tasks are generally consistent daily and may include shifts before and after mall/store hours.

During off-hours (before or after mall/store closing): Clean entrances, restrooms, various floor surfaces, the Food Court, and break rooms. Tasks include dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and operating cleaning machines. May operate a diesel-fired hot water pressure washer for sidewalk and entrance cleaning, following all safety protocols. May also stack chairs, move tables, and perform other preparatory tasks.

During mall/store hours: Patrol the premises to identify hazards, clean spills, wipe furniture, entrance doors, and glass, remove gum, perform touch-up cleaning, restock restrooms, and maintain the Food Court area by wiping tables and chairs, removing trays, and cleaning trays as needed. Empties trash and cardboard, operates trash and cardboard compactors, and uses various cleaning equipment and chemicals to perform duties.

Additional cleaning tasks may be assigned as needed.
