Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator in Miami to administer and coordinate housekeeping functions in assigned sections, and to assume Housekeeping Manager duties in their absence.

You will inspect daily performance, manage VIP room reporting, and ensure end-of-day closing processes are completed accurately. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years in a hotel setting, with strong communication skills and a willingness to train staff.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of progressive hotel experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Room Attendant performance daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• In absence of Manager, inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office.
• Oversee daily floor closings and restock Room Attendants’ carts.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and key control.
• Assist with training of housekeeping staff.
• May be required to clean rooms as needed.
