Colonial Williamsburg Foundation seeks a hotel housekeeping team member at the Williamsburg Inn to assist in preparing guest rooms and maintaining public areas. You will stock towels, linens, and supplies, ensuring guests receive the proper amenities and a clean environment.
The role requires 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping experience, availability for all shifts including nights and weekends, and the ability to follow grooming standards and instructions.
Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week.
Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.
The Williamsburg Inn was built in 1937 by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., who envisioned an exquisite lodging and dining experience for visitors to his extensive restoration of Virginia's colonial capital. This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
