Job Description - HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT FLEX/ Recruitment Bonus $1k (250001UK)

Job Summary: Regularly performs the full range and scope of housekeeping services at a Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and/or Navy Lodge property, including but not limited to cleaning guest rooms, interior public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, exterior spaces, etc. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving items, polishing, cleaning, and removal of debris, trash, transporting linen, towels, etc. Uses hand and powered cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms and assigned areas, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain cleanliness of all spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning and scheduled maintenance tasks, including carpet shampooing, wall cleaning, and room sanitation.
• Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished and functioning correctly.
• Maintain guest privacy, security, and provide excellent guest relations.
• Clean exterior spaces, including parking lots and walkways.
• Assist with loading/unloading supplies and minor repairs, report major repairs.
• Manage keys securely and report any unusual circumstances or lost items.
• Assist with breakfast setup and cleanup as needed.
• Follow safety protocols, including blood-borne pathogen precautions.
• Perform laundry operations and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: No experience required; High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Moderate physical effort required, including moving furniture and using cleaning equipment.

Additional Notes: May need to obtain food handling and housekeeping certifications, possess a valid driver’s license, and perform other related duties as assigned.
