Job Summary:

Provides laundry services to lodging operations with the NEXCOM Hospitality Group (NHG).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sorts, washes, dries, folds, bundles, wraps, and issues linen according to instructions or supervisor directions.
2. Operates commercial laundry equipment with attention to detail to prevent staining, over-bleaching, or over-starching.
3. Loads and unloads laundry, attaches/detaches chemicals using carts, dollies, or similar devices.
4. Follows manufacturer and supervisor instructions for equipment and chemical use; cleans filters and reports malfunctions.
5. Maintains inventory records, detects missing or damaged items, and requests replacements to meet standards.
6. May pick up and deliver laundry to multiple facilities.
7. Performs cleaning tasks to maintain facility cleanliness and documents work performed.
8. May need a valid driver’s license to travel between facilities.
9. Performs duties of housekeeping or public spaces attendants as needed to cover staffing shortages.
10. Ensures guest security and privacy at all times.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: No experience required; High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, bend, walk, push, pull, and climb; capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoor work with possible exposure to heat, dirt, odors, and irritants. PPE is provided and must be worn.

Special Requirements:

This position may be designated ALPHA for inclement weather or national security reasons and may require reporting to work when others are excused.
