Job summary

Cache Valley Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Associate PRN to help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will join a unified team that values compassionate service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, waiting areas and restrooms; following safety and PPE policies; and supporting daily schedules and special projects while delivering courteous, caring service.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas with housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Use cleaning techniques and devices; follow PPE policies when handling chemicals; wear appropriate protective gear.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities; ensure customer satisfaction through courteous care.

• You willmaintainassigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, Stairways,elevatorsand other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• You willinsureoptimumsanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• You willutilizeclean techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow all established PPF (personal protective equipment) policies when handling chemicals and/or cleaning, including wearing gloves, masks, aprons, etc.
• Use allappropriate safetyand protective equipment and supplies when handling hazardous waste and/or chemicals.
• You will follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• You will complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or/and Supervisor.
• You willparticipatein staff meetings and activelyparticipatein performance improvement activities.
• You will ensure that customer quality expectations are met and that all customers are given courteous and caring service.

What qualifications will you need:
