Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an EVS Associate PRN to join our friendly facilities team. You will maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms and other areas with cleaning and sanitation to support a safe patient environment.

In this role, you will follow established PPE policies, use various cleaning devices, and participate in performance improvement activities to ensure courteous, high-quality service for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass back ground check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize cleaning techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow all established PPE policies when handling chemicals and/or cleaning, including wearing gloves, masks, aprons, etc.
• Use all appropriate safety and protective equipment and supplies when handling hazardous waste and/or chemicals.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or/and Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and actively participate in performance improvement activities.
• Ensure that customer quality expectations are met and that all customers are given courteous and caring service.
