Job summary

Croasdaile Village Retirement Community in Durham, NC is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to help maintain clean, welcoming spaces across cottages, apartments and common areas. You will perform routine cleaning, tidying, and replenishing supplies while interacting courteously with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Proficient in cleaning lobbies, corridors, and rooms.
• Ability to interact courteously with residents and staff.
• Willingness to follow hospitality-promises and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens. Makes beds.
• Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs.
• Must interact courteously, tactfully and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates to preserve productivity and moral.

SUMMARY Cleans rooms and halls in cottages, apartments, village commons, nursing home, assisted living and dementia care by performing the following duties.
