Job summary

Ecumen North Branch is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive environment for residents and staff. The role supports a comfortable living space in a 51-unit assisted living community with 68 nursing home beds and memory care residences.

Position details include full-time hours (67.5 bi-weekly), shift 7:00am-3:00pm, and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Targeted pay is $19.50-$20.94 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with community policies and department standards.
• Sweeps, vacuums, dusts, washes, waxes, scours and sanitizes areas as assigned.
• Moves furniture and equipment to clean behind or under as necessary.
• Maintains all assigned areas in a safe manner. Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor or member of the leadership team.
• Follows all regulatory compliance standards.
• Maintains equipment and supply levels as needed. Reports supply/equipment needs to supervisor.
• Assists with any resident need, as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining Ecumen facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. This position is responsible for providing a pleasant living environment for residents and an organized, safe working environment for staff.

Opportunity Details:

Schedule:

• Full-Time - 67.5hrs bi-weekly
• Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm

Pay:

• The targeted pay range for this job is $19.50 to $20.94 per hour.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Previous experience working with seniors
