As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role will involve maintaining the cleanest, most hygienic environment. Safe, comfortable, and welcoming, the environment you maintain will reflect your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Beyond that, we value your positive energy and your natural ability to get along with people. You should be a skilled communicator, equally adept at listening and giving instructions. When interacting with residents or colleagues, your approach will be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
