NHS Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide in Birmingham, AL for full-time employment in a Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation setting. You will keep resident rooms and shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming to support recovery and comfort.

Responsibilities include sanitizing areas, following cleaning schedules, and maintaining infection prevention procedures while delivering compassionate service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled residents.
• Dependable with regular and reliable attendance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of performing the essential physical requirements of the position.

• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other assigned areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Properly use approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
