Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health & Wellness in United States (TX) is seeking Housekeeping Aide and Laundry Aide positions, for Full Time and PRN. The role involves cleaning resident rooms and common areas, adhering to procedures, and supporting residents and staff.

The schedule is 4 on 2 off, with very competitive pay and a benefits package including PTO, holidays, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD/AD&D, short-term disability, and supplemental insurances. Prior housekeeping experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping experience, required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors
• Spot clean walls and windows
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC vents
• Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time
• Assist with picking up trash
• Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture
• Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary
