Job summary

KVH is seeking a hospital cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment across hospital areas. You will contribute to patient and staff wellbeing, working in a Teamsters-represented environment through shift differentials and hourly pay.

Wage range starts at $19.62/hour and goes up to $29.74/hour. Evening, night, and weekend differentials apply, and benefits are not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• WA State Driver’s License (may be required).
• Auto liability insurance (may be required).
• Certification from the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHCE) or equivalent.
• Essentials of Infection Prevention and Environmental Hygiene knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services hospital areas to ensure safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and safe environment with minimal interference to others.

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currentlystarts at $19.62/hour and goes up to $29.74/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may also qualify for an additional 15% in lieu of benefits.

Shift Differentials will apply; Evenings (3p - 11p) = $2.50/hour, Nights (11p - 7a) = $3.50/hour, Weekends = $4.00/hour
